The masterful John Williams took time away from his busy film scoring schedule to arrange this spectacular new setting specifically for use at the 2004 Rose Bowl. Featuring optional fanfare-like extensions, this powerful and unique arrangement is certain to become one of the most requested versions of our national anthem.
Technical Notes: The baritone saxophone part is optional. The B Flat horn/flugelhorn part is optional. The timpani part is optional. The percussion part is labeled "Fireworks/Cannon" and is optional. The multiple bass drum part was written for five bass drums.
